Back in July, Deep Silver announced a fairly silly collector’s edition for the upcoming Saints Row IV. The “Emperor Zinyak’s Game of the Generation Edition” comes with a numbered light-up, rotating “Display Case of Everlasting Glory” for the game’s case, in addition to other goodies. Now, Saints Row IV has gotten the most ridiculous, most expensive collector’s edition in video game history.
Deep Silver today announced the “Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition” of Saints Row IV (aka “The Million Dollar Pack”). The bundle, which is limited to one sale, costs $1 million.
In addition to the Commander in Chief Edition of Saints Row IV and the replica Dubstep Gun included in other collector’s editions of the game, the Wad Wad Edition comes with a variety of over-the-top millionaire activities and products. The package includes a Virgin Galactic ticket, a Lamborghini Gallardo, a one-year membership in the E25 Super Car Club, a day of “spy training,” a “hostage rescue experience,” a personal shopper for a wardrobe shopping spree, any type of plastic surgery, a Toyota Prius (“to give something back to the environment”), a week-long stay for two at the Jefferson Hotel in Washington D.C., and a week-long stay for two at the Burj-al-arab in in Dubai. Both of the trips come with first class airfare included.
The Wad Wad Edition is not a joke – Deep Silver has included terms and conditions in its announcement. Anyone who happens to have a spare million to drop on a video game can pre-order the Wad Wad Edition by emailing [email protected]. The edition has been officially listed on retailer Game’s website. All joking aside, the bundle really highlights just how much $1 million can buy, and so might not be a bad package for a millionaire gamer looking for a vacation.
