Sadie Robertson is killing it on the dance floor with her partner Mark Ballas as they take the stage week after week on everyone’s favorite dancing competition Dancing with the Stars.
This past week, Sadie, the daughter of Duck Dynasty’s CEO Willie Robertson, and Mark performed a sexy country jazz routine that made judge Carrie Ann Inaba wonder what her conservative family thought of her short dress and risqué moves. Sadie revealed that her dad approves all of her dancing costumes and even her great grandmother approved of the dance moves.
Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson stopped Sadie after the show to ask her more about her family’s opinion of her dancing on the show.
“Honestly, my mom and my grandma and even my great grandma were in our practices and watched it, and if anything would’ve been bad I’m pretty sure my great grandma would have said something,” she said. “If grandma and great grandma like it then that means my dad’s gonna like it.”
THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone who voted in the quack pack. Mark and I really appreciate it. We are loving it. @MarkBallas #thequackpack

“Yeah, grandma came and she was like, ‘I like it,'” Mark added.
Sadie, a junior in high school who opted to be homeschooled this year so she could be on the show, has never been to a school dance or had any other professional dance lessons. Her former school did not hold school dances and instead hosted junior and senior banquets. Sadie said that it was different dancing in front of so many people, but she was excited to take on the challenge.

“I mean, it’s nothing really weird for me – that’s how I’ve grown up,” she said. “We just don’t go to dances and stuff, so it’s different to come out here and dance in front of 15 million people and I’ve never danced in front of anyone before.”

“But then again, it’s made this whole experience fun, something new to take on,” she added. “I mean, I’m loving it.”
