"Ruby Sparks" Trailer Now Online, From The Directors of "Little Miss Sunshine"

Fox Searchlight Picture's has released the first trailer for their upcoming quirky romantic comedy "Ruby Sparks". The film comes from the directors of LIttle Miss Sunshine and has a pretty solid cast: Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan, Steve Coogan, Antonio Banderas, Elliot Gould, and Annette Bening.

Ruby Sparks centers around a young author who starts to fall in love with a character he's been creating, when one day she appears in his home and he has to determine if it's real or if he's just going mad. You can check out the trailer for the film below followed the official synopsis.

Calvin (Paul Dano) is a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with his writing - as well as his romantic life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who inspires him. When Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his couch about a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have turned into a living, breathing person.

Ruby Sparks is slated to hit theaters on July 25th.
