  • Rob Kardashian got some support from sister Khloe this week after he posted a video of Malcolm X on Instagram that earned him some backlash.

Kardashian hasn’t been active on social media too much in the last year, withdrawing during a turbulent time for his family and causing concern among his sisters, who feared he suffered from depression after gaining weight. Khloe stepped in on the image-sharing site after Rob posted the video–in which the iconic activist spoke about living like he was already dead in order to keep fear at bay–and went after a commenter. Later, she encouraged his followers to support him as he makes an effort to move back into the spotlight.

He’s simply admiring another man’s wisdom, strength and courage…Can’t one admire another without the stones being thrown. Chill out. Get off my brothers page…He gets criticized for being too private and then when he decides to get back on social media he gets attacked. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Let’s uplift one another and not assume. Let’s all root for Rob,” Khloe wrote.

A source told the Christian Post that Rob has been following a special diet and working out in order to lose about 15 pounds, and will likely make a comeback to his family’s reality shows soon after leaving in 2012.

“He has a $2 million-a-year contract. He realized he couldn’t give up this huge opportunity,” the source said.

Khloe seems to spend a lot of her time online defending either herself or her family members; she recently had to take to Twitter to let followers know that she already had her sisters’ game apps downloaded despite what a screenshot she posted said.

“For those of you saying that I didn’t buy my sisters apps… I already have them downloaded to my phone beta style. Duh we created them!!” Khloe said.
