Rita Ora said she was not affected by A$AP Rocky’s sexual comments. In an interview with HOT 97 on Wednesay, Rita Ora talked about the offensive sexual comments of A$AP Rocky on his song, “Better Things”.

She said she doesn’t really care about what he thinks of her, but she does not want people to think it was okay to talk about women in a sexually offending way. She clarified she does not have anything against Rocky’s music.

“I love what he does,” Rita Ora confides. “I like how, you know, he looks dope, whatever. But for me, it’s not about me. It’s about what people think they can get away with about speaking about women.”

The 24-year-old pop singer said she was happy and proud of her individuality and what she represents.

The cause of all the fuss was the line from the track “Better Things” which was released early this year. It recounts Rocky’s intimate encounter with Ora .

Rocky, later on admitted that his choice of words was “tasteless” . Ora said she missed this comment from Rocky but it was nice that he admitted it.

When asked about her love life, Rita Ora admits that she is single now and she feels free.

“Don’t get me wrong, even sometimes I’m like, ‘Yo, am I gonna end up with like 10 cats? Am I gonna be that woman?'” she shared laughing. “But then I think, ‘No, you know, at this time it’s just not mean to be.’ Accept that, be happy with who we have, what we are, and I’m not trying to preach but I’m kind of saying this so I can hear myself say it, too. It’s one of those things, man. [Relationships] don’t mean everything.”
