Oh, Twitterverse. Sigh.

This morning, RIPMadonna was trending on Twitter. Because Madonna is dead? Of course not. She's totally alive. But that doesn't stop the Twitterverse from spreading rumors. Fake death rumors on Twitter are becoming about as common as men on Google+.

Pointing your fingers to Gaga's fans that they started the RIP Madonna things is so rude . It's Will Smith that started that sh*t . 28 minutes ago via web ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto

a Will Smith parody account disses Madonna and you got news saying the real Will tweeted it blah blah.... #MORONS 1 hour ago via Twitter for iPhone ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto

No wonder Madonna prefers Google+.
