One of the more intriguing games to be announced at E3 this year was Injustice: Gods Among Us. It has the talented team at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon’s team that makes Mortal Kombat, trying their hand at another DC fighter. Unlike last time, however, this fighter will only feature DC heroes and villains.

San Diego Comic-Con is happening this week and DC has delivered a new trailer to us featuring two new characters – Cyborg and Nightwing. While the addition of new characters is appreciated, I can’t help but be in love with a single element from the trailer.

One of Batman’s special moves is that he calls the Batmobile out to run over his opponent. In the trailer below, you’ll see him using this on Harley Quinn. I really wish he would use it on somebody more deserving like Superman or The Flash, but it’s still one of the greatest specials in fighting game history. I can’t really complain.

Pretty exciting, yes? Even though the game won’t be as violent as Mortal Kombat (blame DC regulations), it still looks like great fun. The only thing that can make it better would be confirmation of The Joker being a playable character. Since Harley Quinn has already been confirmed, my favorite comic book character of all time can’t be too far off.
