“Narvel and I are divorced,” the country singer said on Facebook this past Thursday.
It wasn’t even an official announcement in which Reba McEntire announced the legal end to her marriage, but rather a simple comment below a picture that included members of her team.
So proud of these people. They have been with me for over 20 years. Pictured l to r, Brian Leedham 24 years, Narvel…

Reba McEntire announced in August that she and Narvel Blackstock were divorcing. They had separated a few months earlier.
“Thanks for all of those sweet messages. Narvel and I are friends. We have always been,” she said at the time.
The former couple announced their divorce via a statement through their agent.
“Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time,” the statement read.
Narvel Blackstock and Reba McEntire have a son together. Brandon Blackstock–Narvel’s son from a previous marriage–is married to singer Kelly Clarkson.
Reba McEntire shocked the country music world with the announcement of her divorce. Blake Shelton also announced his divorce this summer. Reba’s fellow country music artist was married to yet another from their genre–Miranda Lambert.
