From the news beat of Really Sad And Horrible Things, 23-year-old magazine editor Lauren Scruggs was severely injured on Saturday night when she de-boarded an airplane then turned to thank the pilot and inadvertently walked into the still-running propellers of the plane. Reports say that she suffered a severed left hand, lacerations to her face, a skull fracture and brain injury, and could still possibly lose her left eye.
Unbelievably, Scruggs survived. Since the accident, support has reverberated across the Internet with many taking to Twitter to express their sympathy as well as share information on how to contribute to what will assuredly be Scrugg’s absurdly high medical costs as she recovers from her injuries.
Dear friends, please pray for Lauren Scruggs of LOLO Magazine. She was in in a very serious accident last night and needs your prayers.
