Paula Patton’s husband, Robin Thicke, hasn’t gotten nearly as much headline coverage as Miley Cyrus has in recent weeks following their scandalous performance of “Blurred Lines” at the MTV VMAs, but Patton spoke up about the infamous twerking incident and said she doesn’t really see what the big deal is.
“I wasn’t surprised at all,” she said. “Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don’t know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your . . . all my friends do it like that. And I don’t really know what the big deal is. I didn’t know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song’s about taking molly!”
Cyrus has taken a whole lot of flack lately for the performance, and for her new highly-sexualized image. Check out the clip below to see what all the fuss is about, in case you missed it.
