Paula Deen almost spoiled one of the 2015 Emmys’ best surprises this past Sunday when she wanted to post a photo she snapped in her hotel.

In the days prior to the Emmys, comedian and actor Tracy Morgan flew to L.A. on a private plane. He arrived out of sight of the paparazzi.

Paula Deen was staying at the same hotel as Tracy Morgan, and when she spotted him in the lobby, she spoke with him and asked to snap a quick photo.

If not for the quick-thinking of Tracy Morgan’s publicist, the SNL alum’s surprise appearance might have been spoiled. The publicist jumped in–asking Paula Deen not to post the shot to the internet until after the 2015 Emmys had aired.

Paula Deen is in L.A. competing on Dancing With the Stars. From the looks of things, she won’t be there much longer.
