One Direction to Record Fourth Album on the Road

Despite the fact that One Direction’s third album isn’t being released until November, British daily tabloid The Sun is already reporting on the band’s fourth album. Apparently, it will be recorded on the road during their 2014 stadium tour.

The popular boy band’s third album, Midnight Memories, comes out on November 25th. They announced the album title via Twitter and Instagram on September 6:

The announcement produced a flutter of excitement amongst fans on Twitter.

Tickets for One Direction’s 2014 Where We Are Tour went on sale September 28. The tour kicks off May 23 with a three day run in Dublin before moving on to Sunderland and Manchester, UK.

According to The Sun, the band will travel with a mobile studio in order to record tracks for their next album. The plans are all part of the massive deal the band recently signed with Simon Cowell’s label, Syco Entertainment.

Fans are already grabbing up tickets and speculating on who will open for the band on the Where We Are Tour.

In the meantime, the band is keeping the excitement going with promise of a big announcement on Wednesday:
