North West has hit a major milestone and her mom Kim Kardashian is extremely proud.

Kim took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 23 to share the news that her one-year-old daughter, with her husband rapper Kanye West, has learned how to walk.

Kim shared an adorable picture of her holding North, who was wrapped in a big yellow towel after her swim lessons. While Kanye is MIA most of the time, due to his hectic schedule, the proud father was able to witness this once in a lifetime moment with his wife and daughter, and he even snapped the photo.

“Our baby girl finished one week of swimming lessons today then took her 1st steps right when she got out of the pool!!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you!!!! Photo cred: Daddy,” Kim captioned the photo.

North recently celebrated her first birthday in June with an extravagant party with a “Kidchella” theme after the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The party was held at Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian’s home, and was complete with a Ferris Wheel, bounce houses, karaoke, and food carts. North was surrounded by her family and friends, who helped her celebrate the big day.

Kim recently came under fire for piercing North’s ears for her birthday. While on a family outing, North’s diamond studs were very noticeable, causing quite a stir on social media.
