Last night it was rumored that the New Orleans Saints were holding a workout for former All-Pro receiver Randy Moss.
Moss, whose 153 touchdown receptions are tied with Terrell Owens for second all time, announced on his 35th birthday that he was ending his one-year retirement from the NFL. It’s unclear at the moment what time the workout will be held, but it will be today.
Love it or hate it, people have been flocking to Twitter to talk about it. As i’m sure you can imagine some Saints are thrilled at the news of the workout, while others are afraid that the Saints are writing off re-signing Marques Colston, who’s a free agent. Other twitterers are questioning the timing of this workout, as Moss has a certain aurora about him, and the tem is currently in the middle of “Bounty Gate“.
