New Bond Movie: SKYFALL’s Villain Played By Javier Bardem – Images Inside

  • The next installment of the James Bond franchise, SKYFALL, is slated to open in theaters on November 9th. Up to this point we’ve only seen a few glimpses of 007 himself, but nothing of the new Bond villain. Well, that changes today as new images have begun to spread around the Internet that shows Javier Bardem sporting a blonde do, while disguised as a Metropolitan Police Officer. According to The Daily Mail, Bardem’s characters name will be ‘Silva’, which is all we pretty much know about him at this moment.

    For those of you unfamiliar with the new Bond film, here is the official synopsis:

    Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

    This isn’t Bardem’s first foray into the world of villainy, he won an Academy Award in 2007 for his role of Anton Chigurh in the Cohen Bros. film No Country for Old Men.
