Monica Lewinsky Talks Clinton Affair

Monica Lewinsky has finally decided to come clean about what went down between her and Bill Clinton in the 90's.

The affair between the two led to the president being impeached and according to Lewinsky, ruined her life as well.

Everyone knows that Clinton went through after the world learned of the affair, but few people know what happened to Lewinsky.

Some see her as a jezebel, others see her as the victim but Lewinsky claims neither of them is true. The affair and Lewinsky have both become the subject of numerous jokes.

She maintains that the affair was consensual and that both her and Clinton knew that what they were doing would be frowned upon but thought that no one would ever find out.

Lewinsky has written an article that gives her side of the story and shares her feelings about the affair then and now. She writes,

"I, myself, deeply regret what happened between me and President Clinton. Let me say it again: I. Myself. Deeply. Regret. What. Happened."

"Sure, my boss took advantage of me, but I will always remain firm on this point: It was a consensual relationship. Any 'abuse' came in the aftermath, when I was made a scapegoat in order to protect his powerful position ... The Clinton administration, the special prosecutor's minions, the political operatives on both sides of the aisle, and the media were able to brand me. And that brand stuck, in part because it was imbued with power," she continues.

The rest of her article can be found on newsstands and online on May 13.

Monica also said that she was nervous about Hilary Clinton possibly running for president during the next election and that she is scared it will not only stir up old drama and that Clinton could gain control of the N. S. A.
