Major League Baseball has decide to go all in when it comes to their iOS apps. They recently announced that they 3 million new downloads of their very popular “At Bat” app. We now get the news that two weeks after they launched, MLB’s two newest mobile apps, At the Ballpark and Full Count, remain ranked among the top 10 free sports iPhone apps in the Apple App Store, joining mainstays At Bat and Beat The Streak presented by Scotts. Here is a little bit about each app from MLB:
MLB.com At Bat (1st iPhone & iPad)
As announced last week, the App Store’s #1 sports app of all-time, At Bat, is off to a record-setting start this season with fans accessing over 800,000 live audio and video streams on average per day. At Bat, as a single app for iPhone and iPad, has remained entrenched in the top spot for each device.
MLB.com At the Ballpark (5th)
The official in-ballpark app allows fans to personalize their trips to any of the 30 Major League ballparks. Fans can check-in with the iPhone app to get exclusive offers and rewards as well as social media, maps, concession menus and mobile food ordering in select ballparks. It also features a check-in history to track games attended, ballparks visited and team wins.
MLB.com Full Count (8th iPhone; 6th iPad)
Full Count, a single app for iPhone and iPad, delivers live Major League Baseball video streaming content channels, including the daily live offering of live look-ins and highlights from every game produced and powered by MLB.com in partnership with Yahoo! Sports.
MLB.com Beat the Streak presented by Scotts (6th)
MLB.com Beat the Streak presented by Scotts allows fantasy baseball players to manage their daily picks on-the-go as they strive to best baseball’s all-time consecutive games hitting streak and claim its $5.6 million grand prize. Beat the Streak presented by Scotts introduced new ways to play in 2012, including Double Down and Facebook Connect.
