  • Miranda Lambert is speaking out for the first time about her divorce from Blake Shelton, calling her ex-husband an “amazing man.”

It was in the upcoming cover story for Cosmopolitan that the “Little Red Wagon” singer dished on her divorce. Neither Miranda Lambert nor Blake Shelton has yet spoken publicly about what went wrong. In fact, Miranda had nothing negative to say about Blake Shelton at all.

“I had a great relationship with an amazing man,” she says, “so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”

Miranda Lambert admits it’s still not easy being divorced, but she has every intention of moving forward and living a good life.

“Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now,'” she adds,

Making music is still a priority for Miranda Lambert, as well it should be.

“I feel the sexiest when I’m in my element, which is playing music,” she says. “It doesn’t really matter what I’m wearing necessarily or where I’m at, just on stage with my band playing music is sort of where I feel like I belong and that makes me feel sexy.”

Miranda Lambert isn’t ready to date yet and she in no way wants to think about getting married again. Blake Shelton, on the other hand, has already moved on with fellow Voice coach, Gwen Stefani.

Do you think the world will ever learn of the actual catalyst for Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton’s divorce? Is her refusal to say anything negative about her ex indicative of mistakes she may have made in their marriage?
