Minnie Driver joked about the possibility of deportation after she messed up the lyrics to the National Anthem while singing at the L.A. Dodgers game on Saturday.

The About A Boy star sang the song prior to the Dodgers beating the St. Louis Cardinals by a score of 5 to 1, but she had a bit of a fail of her own.

It seems Minnie Driver delivered the line ,”O’er the ramparts we hailed, were so gallantly streaming,” instead of the actual lyrics, “O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming.”

Following her mess up, Minnie Driver was rather embarrassed, and shared her flub via Twitter.

Minnie Driver called singing the National Anthem “nerve wracking,” but said the entire event made for a “truly memorable night.”

She was a bit red-faced from her mistake, but made light of it. She joked about deportation with a Twitter fan.

The Good Will Hunting actress is in good company when messing up the National Anthem lyrics. Christina Aguilera totally messed up the lyrics to the song in 2011 when she sang it at the Super Bowl.

Fans–and Americans–will no doubt forgive Minnie Driver. She didn’t make that huge a blunder. Anyone who gives her grief should be made to stand up and sing the song–solo–at the next Dodgers game themselves.
