Will we ever stop focusing on Miley Cyrus’s rather raunchy 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Performance? It seems there’s some breaking news that will help wash away the engrained images of the shocking performance that had fans-and friends utterly blown away.
It seems that Kanyd West has recruited the young star to record a remix of, “Black Skinhead” on his latest record, Yeezus.
According the Cyrus’s rep telling the New York Post, the 20-year-old singer skipped her VMA after-party for a super secret collaboration. Later, sources confirmed that the collaboration was in fact with West.
At the VMA’s West performed, “Blood on the Leaves” instead of, “Black Skinhead.” It was said that the song change was a last-minute idea. The performance was pretty stark plain compared to Cyrus’s hip-thrusting rendition she gave at the award show.
Rapper West was one of the artists not spotted at Jay Z and Diddy’s after-party Sunday night that apparently dazzled way into the early hours of Monday morning. It looks like West and Cyrus were pretty busy creating some interesting music. If Cyrus’s performance was any indication as to what this remix will sound like, then it seems listeners are in for quite an interesting treat.
The remix EP is said to be released later in the year.
