Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have been unanimously voted “cutest couple” by pretty much everyone since they began making their relationship public, and now that Kunis is expecting their first child, fans and friends are waiting with bated breath to see what the wedding will be like. Those outside the couple’s close circle of friends, however, might be disappointed.
“I never wanted to get married. From the age of 12, I prepared my parents for no marriage. Then things changed—I found the love of my life. Now my theory on weddings is: Don’t invite anyone. Do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They’re just excited that I said yes,” she said in a recent interview.
The actress also said that because she and Kutcher have known each other since they were teenagers–having worked together on That ’70s Show–they have lived through one another’s mistakes, which may make for a smoother relationship.
“Not only did it introduce me to my fiancé,” she said of the show, “but I’m so grateful that all my mistakes are recorded for posterity…I went through everything embarrassing that a girl can go through in front of my fiancé. There’s no question that he’s seen the worst. I find that comforting.”
Kunis has been busy lately; aside from being an expectant mom, she’s also the new spokesperson for Jim Beam and has been working on Jupiter Ascending with Channing Tatum and Sean Bean.
