Melissa Gorga Defends Aprea Family Over Vicious Rumors

You’ve got to hand it to Victoria Gotti.

The former “mafia princess” certainly knows how to drop the kind of bombshell that will make reality TV viewers talk.

Unfortunately for Teresa Aprea, what Gotti shared about her mother and husband has since become a widely-broadcasted rumor. One that has caused a great deal of personal embarrassment.

Weeks ago the Real Housewives Of New Jersey featured a guest appearance by Gotti, who told Amber Marchese and Teresa Giudice that she knew for a fact that Aprea’s husband Rino had an affair with his mother-in-law.

Her source was supposedly Rino himself; he allegedly confessed to Gotti about having the affair during the couple’s first marriage. Teresa Aprea and he divorced for a time, but decided to get back together.

Marchese had ample reason to eat up the gossip as she was feuding with Aprea and her twin sister Nicole Napolitano.

It was Melissa Gorga who inadvertedly fanned the flames by informing the twins that Marchese was spreading rumors.

Marchese made the mistake of telling Gorga that Napolitano was instrumental in the ruining of a marriage by having an affair with another woman’s husband.

When Gorga reported what Marchese said back to the twins, it led to a violent confrontation between Marchese, Aprea, and Napolitano.

That rumor has not too surprisingly been overshadowed by Gotti’s bombshell revelation to Giudice and Marchese.

As Aprea struggles to deal with the ugly accusation, her good friend Gorga has gone on record as saying that she finds the “disgusting” rumor to be “100 percent untrue”.

Gorga spoke up on behalf of Santa Napolitano, the twins’ mother, when she and her husband Joe appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Sunday.

“If you ever met [Santa] she’s just the sweetest, nicest lady,” said Gorga. She added that there was “no tension” and that the family enjoys a “tight bond”.

For these reasons she seems absolutely certain that what was said by Gotti has no basis in reality.
