Actor Meagan Good was one of the female celebrities victimized by the second wave of leaked nude photos, but she is not taking the controversy sitting down. The Anchorman 2 star confirmed that the photos of her were authentic but also took the time to respond scathingly to the perpetrators of the hacking.
An Instagram photo she posted on Sunday, September 21 showed her statement about the hacking of celebrity accounts and posting of stolen photos. She said that she was “shocked” and “saddened” for everyone who had to go through the ordeal. Good also said that she was not going to give the “person responsible” her power, adding that at the end of the day, the pictures were meant for her husband, DeVon Franklin, who is Senior Vice President for Production at Columbia Pictures.

“Oh, yeah — and for everyone who’s reposting the leaked nudes? You should be ashamed of yourself,” she wrote. Good’s photo has garnered more than 23,000 likes on Instagram.
Good’s co-star on the film Think Like A Man, Gabrielle Union, was also among the women whose nude photos were circulated in the second wave. Union reportedly confirmed that the photos were of her but clarified that she had sent them to her husband privately.
“I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them,” Union said in a joint statement with her husband, basketball player Dwayne Wade. “These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
