Meadow Walker, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker, recently shared a beach photo on Instagram and wished her Twitter followers a happy 4th of July.

Meadow just started using Twitter and Instagram back in April, and even after joining, she didn’t tweet much or post very many photos.

Paul Walker passed away last winter and many people wondered what would happen to young Meadow. Paul had managed to keep her out of the spotlight as much as possible to allow her to have a normal childhood, but after his death, she was the topic of many conversations.

Meadow seems to be doing very well. In the few photos that Meadow has shared on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, she appears to be happy and smiling.

Paul Walker passed away on November 30, 2013 after the sports car he was riding in crashed into a cement pole and burst into flames. Walker and his friend who was driving the car were killed instantly when the car caught fire.

Walker was in the middle of filming Fast & Furious 7 and the film was delayed while the actors had time to grieve and the producers had time to talk with Walker’s family to see how they felt about continuing the film without him.

Filming eventually continued and is scheduled to be released in April 2015.

Meadow had lived with Walker before his death. She now lives with a nanny who helped care for her throughout most of her life and her mother who is hoping to complete a rehab program and get her life together so she can gain full custody of Meadow.

In spite of Walker’s death, Meadow seems to be happy and in good spirits.

What do you think of Meadow’s return to social networking?
