Matthew McConaughey Was Going Bald, Saved His Look

Matthew McConaughey had a career as a romantic comedy mainstay. He sure had the look for it: rock-hard abs, seemingly-permanent tan, million-watt smile, and swept-back hair that women just wanted to run their fingers through.

But Matthew McConaughey had to face a reality that many men dread. He was losing his hair.

Biographer Neil Daniels tells how Matthew McConaughey got proactive and brought his hair loss to a grinding halt, and without hair plugs.

“Back in 1999, my hair was fallin’ out, McConaughey explains in Matthew McConaughey: A Biography, “so I started this stuff. And son of a gun if I didn’t bring my hair back so well that people think I went and got plugs’.

The “stuff” Matthew McConaughey referred to? That would be Regenix.

According to their website, the Regenix program is not a one-size-fits-all product.

“The Regenix Hair Loss Treatment consists of a series of naturally derived, liquid bio-pharmaceuticals applied topically to the scalp, and can be followed at home or in our Los Angeles Clinic.

“Your natural hair loss treatment program will be custom-formulated for your hair loss issue from many different elements. Based on our initial micro-analysis of your hair, we determine which formula to use, and Regenix hair loss treatments are constantly refined based on follow up hair micro-analysis, in order to achieve the best possible results.”

You can’t get a much better testimonial than saying that Matthew McConaughey kept his hair because of the Regenix program. And Regenix uses that endorsement to good effect. They have a testimonial from Matthew McConaughey on their page:

“I’ve been using Regenix, stuff for healthy hair to keep this hair strong, because some of this hair was falling out. Now my hairline’s better than when I was 18.”
