Mariah Carey definitely made her presence known at the 2014 BET Honors. The 5-time Grammy Award-winning singer took the stage for the annual event which was held at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC on Saturday, Feb. 9.

Although her performance was highly lauded, it wasn't just her impressive vocal range that garnered so much attention. According to E! News, the singer's attractive cleavage-baring ensemble took home the jaw-dropping best dressed award for the day.

The world-renowned pop singer, who sat atop a piano for the performance, debuted her new single "You're Mine". She wore a sleek, black dress with matching long, black gloves, a gleaming necklace with matching drop earrings.

The 43-year-old singer, who mirrored Jessica Rabbit, was one of the lucky ones who didn't suffer the embarrassing drawbacks of a wardrobe malfunction. Given the way the form-fitted dress hugged her curves, there could have definitely been a malfunction that would have resulted in a generous show of cleavage.

The "Obsessed" singer took to Twitter and Instagram during the rehearsal for the event to share a glint of her stunning ensemble with fans.

The caption for the Instagram picture read, "At Rehearsals for the #BEThonors #GLambly."

However, this isn't the first time over the past week that Carey has opted to show some skin and cleavage. Nick Cannon's wife also shared another picture via Twitter wearing a laced, tan bra and sarong around her waist. The picture's caption read, "Working in my most favorite environment clearly having a bad hair day.. Haaaaaa."

The 2014 BET Honors will air Monday, Feb. 24 at 9P/8C. Carey was a part of an esteemed list of performers that included, Jennifer Hudson, Tamar Braxton, Janelle Monae, Karen Clark Sheard, and Smokey Robinson. The award show was hosted by Wayne Brady.

Carey's new single "You're Mine (Eternal)" hits iTunes on Wed. Feb. 12. Her upcoming fourteenth studio album The Art of Letting Go is slated to be released May 6.
