Music duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis wowed the crowd Sunday night at the AMAs when they accepted the award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop album. The pair’s album, entitled, The Heist, was released on October 9, 2012.

Due to their schedule, which included a a stop in Miami during the AMAs, the artists’ accepted their award by satellite.

In his now-famous acceptance speech, Macklemore began with the Martin Luther King, Jr. quote, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere…”

After his opening, Macklemore went on to comment on both Trayvon Martin and the trial of his killer, George Zimmerman.
