Lupita Nyong’o shined in the red carpet as well as onstage during the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards. She joined Jared Leto as they took to the stage to present the award for Outstanding Male Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries. However, their seemingly flirtatious nature is what’s been making headlines right now. Leto was seen staring intently at the Yale-educated actress as she read the nominees, only looking away to read his part from the teleprompter. The rumored couple announced the winner, Mark Ruffalo, who couldn’t be there during the ceremony. After delivering the spiel about accepting the award on Ruffalo’s behalf, Leto then pulled Nyong’o closer to him.

The 12 Years a Slave star was clearly flustered, adding more fuel to the rumors that Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong’o are an item. However, Nyong’o addressed the rumors during an appearance on Ellen. “Ah, but I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up,” Nyong’o quipped, referring to the rumors that Leto was dating the “Wrecking Ball” singer. “That was the last thing I heard.”

“It’s crazy, cause when I read these rumors, they’re so detailed that even I start to question whether they’re true or not. I know I’ve believed them in the past and now I guess I can’t believe anything,” Lupita Nyong’o added.

The rumors began when Leto revealed being infatuated with Nyong’o during the 2014 Independent Spirit Awards. “In case this is the last time I get to thank anyone, I wrote down a couple of names,” Leto said before thanking Wayne Gretzky and the inventor of the zipper among others. The actor then added, “To all the women I have slept with and those who think they’ve slept with me. And [to] my future ex-wife Lupita!” The stars were then seen spending time with each other, which fueled the speculation that the two are dating.
