  • Lisa Bonet allegedly made some troubling tweets this week and many people assumed she was hinting that she was sexually abused by Bill Cosby.

Over the last few months, several women have come forward to claim that the elderly actor and comedian had drugged, threatened and sexually abused them at some point in their lives.

Bonet’s tweets were somewhat cryptic, but seemed to refer to the situation.

“According to the karma of past actions, one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky . . . Nothing stays in the dark 4ever,” read one of the tweets.

Her manager however, claims that Bonet did not make the tweets, that the Twitter account was a fake and that the tweets were made as a hoax.

“I can assure you that is not her Twitter account and I have had the account suspended,” talent manager Jillian Neal told TheWrap Sunday.

The account has since been suspended.

Cosby and Bonet haven’t exactly seen eye to eye in the past and have avoided each other since The Cosby Show ended. Bonet went on to appear in films and in magazines that Cosby did not approve of and when the cast of The Cosby Show reunited in 2002, Bonet didn’t show up.

There were numerous rumors about the reason, but according to Page Six, one cast member claimed that Bonet was unappreciative of everything Cosby had done for her.

“Year after year, we watched Bill throw Lisa one bone after another, and all she did was bite his hand. The rest of us were happy to be on a hit show, but Lisa didn’t seem to appreciate her good fortune,” the unnamed cast member said.

Lisa has not released a statement about the Twitter incident and has not openly accused Cosby of abusing her sexually or in any other way.
