On November 21, an unverified account claiming to be Lisa Bonet sent out a cryptic tweet rumored to be about the rape allegations being hurled at her TV dad, comedian Bill Cosby. The tweet said, “According to the karma of past actions, one’s destiny unfolds, even though everyone wants to be so lucky… Nothing stays in the dark 4ever!” However, Bonet’s manager claims that the account was fake and it has since been deactivated. “I can assure you that is not her Twitter account and I have had the account suspended,” her manager, Jillian Neal, tells TheWrap.
Lisa played the role of Cosby’s daughter Denise on The Cosby Show, however her relationship with Cosby became strained over the years. It’s been reported that Cosby became infuriated at Bonet after she appeared in a sex scene with Mickey Rourke in the film Angel Heart in 1987. She also appeared in a nude photo shoot the following year.

More than a dozen women have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against Cosby. Among their ranks are model Janice Dickinson, Florida nurse Therese Serignese, Lou Ferrigno’s wife Carla Ferrigno, and Law and Order actress Michelle Hurd.
Ever since the accusations became public, Cosby has lost a handful of gigs. NBC reportedly cancelled an upcoming series that was supposed to star Cosby. Netflix also pulled his comedy special Bill Cosby 77, which was supposed to premiere over Thanksgiving. Cosby’s scheduled performances at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and the Diamond Desert Casino in Arizona were also cancelled.
The comedian has kept silent as the accusations mounted up, but he briefly touched on the subject during a recent interview with Florida Today. “People should fact check. People shouldn’t have to go through that and shouldn’t answer to innuendos,” Cosby said in the interview.
