Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized earlier today after slamming her Porsche into the back of an 18-wheeler on the highway in L.A. Early reports say she has no life threatening injuries, but officials haven’t released what the cause of the accident was.
Lohan reportedly told police the semi driver cut her off, making her not at-fault for the accident, which sent her passenger to the emergency room in an ambulance and left both of them cut up. TMZ published photos of the car after the accident, showing the windshield smashed in and the front of it looking fairly totaled.
This isn’t the first automobile mishap for Lohan. Back in March she was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run outside a nightclub. Friends, fans, and family have long been concerned about her erratic behavior over the past few years, which includes drinking, shoplifting, and alleged drug use. Although she seems to be trying to move in the right direction of late–cleaning herself up and landing the role of Liz Taylor in the Lifetime movie “Liz And Dick“–this latest incident will no doubt have tongues wagging as to what exactly caused the accident and whether or not she was at fault.
Fans on Twitter have begun using the hashtag #PrayForLindsay as they wait to hear of her condition.
