“They’re gone, though,” Rage Against the Machine bassist, Tim Commerford, said about Limp Bizkit. “That’s the beautiful thing. There’s only one left, and that’s Rage, and as far as I’m concerned, we’re the only one that matters.”

While Commerford apparently does not think too highly of Limp Bizkit, he isn’t aware that the band is still actively touring and is currently working on an upcoming album.

Limp Bizkit has covered the Rage Against the Machine hit, “Killing in the Name,” many times and claims to have been inspired by the LA-based rap metal band.

During a performance in New York last year, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, dedicated the cover of the said song to RATM.

“This is dedicated to the rap-rock band that started this shit,” Fred Durst said while performing. “This next part the lyric,’F**k you!I won’t do what you tell me!’ changed my life.”

Unfortunately, rather than feel honored by the dedication, Commerford seemed offended by it.

“I do apologize for Limp Bizkit,” Commerford said. “I really do. I feel really bad that we inspired such bullshit.”

Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit is set to release a new album this year.

Limp Bizkit posted on Facebook, “2015 YEAR OF THE ELEPHANT – NEW FULL LENGTH ALBUM FROM LIMP BIZKIT Stampede of the Disco Elephants. We are in final stages of production now with release soon to follow. THIS IS REAL! SUCK IT!”

Wes Borland, Limp Bizkit guitarist, also revealed that their fans can expect a lot of changes in their upcoming album.

“To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session,” the Limp Bizkit guitarist said. “I mean, we’ve gone into five different studios now. I think we’re up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs.”
