Lena Dunham will host "Saturday Night Live" this week, and the "Girls" creator starred in some pro-women promos for the episode which have hit the web already.

The writer/director/actress has had a lot on her plate lately; besides the hugely successful "Girls" and her "SNL" stint, Dunham announced this week that she'll be writing a four-part story for Archie Comics. As a big fan of the series, she talked it up during a Q&A session recently and, when the creators got wind of it, offered to have her write for them.

“We sent her a box of tons of Archie books,” Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said. “She devoured them all, and maybe a week or two later came back with her pitch. It’s a classic Archie story with a definitely unique, Lena spin.”

Dunham will host the sketch comedy show this Saturday along with musical guests The National.
