  • LeAnn Rimes and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, have been a favorite of the media since news of their affair broke, and because Eddie’s ex-wife is a reality star–The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Brandi Glanville–every move they make is documented on gossip sites and in the tabloids. Rimes and Glanville have had a pretty famous feud in recent years, as well, which sometimes shows up on social media as they battle it out in tweets. However, Rimes and Cibrian say they are just as in love as they were when they first met, and now they’re ready to take control of the way the media depicts them by showing us what goes on in their lives via a reality series.

“Everybody has used our lives as entertainment, or what they think they know of it. It was time to start taking control of it and laughing about [it] and really showing the true story of who we are and how we live life. It’s not what you thought,” Rimes said.

LeAnn & Eddie is set to premiere on VH1 Thursday night and will feature a funnier side to the couple than we’ve previously seen.

“Our story has been kind of told one-sidedly through a kind of a tabloid fodder environment and every week it’s sometimes just ridiculous and so we wanted to take that and have fun with it and show this is how we deal with that stuff. And it’s really through comedy,” Cibrian said.

According to the trailer, the duo delve right into their lives to give fans a look at what it’s like to be them, complete with disagreements on having children and how they handle being a busy, working couple. And while Brandi Glanville isn’t really a part of the show, she is mentioned at least once.
