  • Leah Remini is back. Her reality show, Leah Remini: It’s All Relative, has been renewed by TLC for a second season.

The first season of Leah Remini: It’s All Relative aired over the summer of 2014, and featured her stepfather George, her daughter’s nanny, Remini’s personal assistant, and more. Season two–which the family started filming earlier this month–will include her husband Angelo Pagan, their daughter Sofia, her mother Vicki, and many of season one’s cast of characters, too.

Season one of Leah Remini: It’s All Relative brought in an average of one million viewers per episode. Leah Remini has lots of fans left over from her days on King of Queens, the comedy on which she starred with Kevin James and Jerry Stiller. She made headlines last year when she competed on Dancing With the Stars shortly after calling out the head of the Church of Scientology over the secrets they keep and her concern over the well-being of the church leader, David Miscavige’s wife. Shelly Miscavige hasn’t been seen in public since 2007.

Leah Remini was spotted out at the premiere for the new film Home recently with BFF Jennifer Lopez. Lopez had her twins Max and Emme in tow, and Remini brought daughter Sofia.

J-Lo shared an adorable picture of the whole gang on their way home after the movie.

“On our way to celebrate after seeing #HOME! In theaters March 27th. @jlo #@#BestiePromoInc #YesIOnlyGotOneEye #familia,” she captioned the Instagram shot.

Kudos to Leah Remini for a couple of things. First off for Leah Remini: It’s All Relative being picked up by TLC for a second season, and secondly for refusing to be silenced by the Church of Scientology. Not only she is teaching her daughter that everything in life can–and often should– be questioned, she may also be helping to open the eyes of many people who have refused to see this organization for what it is.

The 14-episode second season of Leah Remini: It’s All Relative will air on TLC this summer.
