Lea Michele may not be over the death of her long-time boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, from a mix of heroin and alcohol, but at least there is hope now for the “Glee” star that things are getting better. Lea has chosen to throw herself into work on the show and on a new music video for her new album.
“Lea is doing much better,” a source close to her said, according to People. The source added that she has found solace in dedicating herself fully to her show and music video.
In her highly anticipated new music video, she sheds her Rachel image and is just herself, well, a sultry version of herself. All that can be told from the few snaps she’s shared, according to InStyle, is that she will be sticking with her signature smokey eye, courtesy of L’Oreal, I’m sure. She is still their global ambassador, after all.
Her new album will surely be a hit for her, and pays tribute, in part, to Cory Monteith. She revealed that a song on the album entitled ‘You’re Mine’ is one she intends for Cory, explaining: ‘The album was done, and the label said, “Do you want to add anything?” I was like, “I might regret it if I don’t”. It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this.’ On Sunday she tweeted this,
Truly an incredible day…
