According to recent reports, NBA star Lamar Odom is ready to be released in the next ten days as his condition has gotten better since his hospitalization.

He was previously found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel after a four-day alcohol and drug binge.

Odom is currently receiving medical treatment at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. A source revealed that Odom will be released from the hospital sometime next week, but it is still unclear whether the hoopster will continue his physical rehab at a facility or do it as an outpatient.

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian, Odom’s ex-wife continues to support him despite their split. Kardashian put her divorce with Odom on hold during his hospitalization, saying the former Lakers player does not have anyone to look after him since he lost his family and some of his closest friends. Kardashian told People that Odom does not have any siblings and his mother passed away so she wants to stay by his side for the meantime and be his “support system.”

However, this does not mean the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is getting back with him. Kardashian is said to be spending quality time with James Harden after the reality star put their romance aside following Odom’s health crisis last month.

She told People that she called off their divorce “for medical decisions and a ton of other things… But that doesn’t mean I’m back with Lamar.”

A source told Us magazine that Kardashian considered reconciling with Odom but she dropped the idea when his drug dealer came to visit at the hospital.

“It became clear to Khloe very quickly after Lamar woke up, and the days went on, that he wasn’t going to be changing any time soon,” revealed the source. Kardashian is now ignoring texts and calls from Odom when she is with Harden.
