Lady Gaga, like many others (including Adele and Mariska Hargitay), has been voicing her support of Kesha during her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke.
Last week a court refused to let Kesha break a recording contract with Dr. Luke, whom she accused of sexual assault.
Dr. Luke accused the singer of unleashing a smear campaign and released a statement through is attorneys accusing her of trying to extort money and renegotiate her contract.
Lady Gaga has been showing her support for Kesha on social media. “Free Kesha,” she wrote on Instagram:

Lady Gaga will perform her song “Til it Happens to You” at the Oscars. The song is about sexual abuse on college campuses, and appears in the documentary “The Hunting Ground” about the topic.
