Kristin Cavallari confirmed via several media outlets on Monday that brother Michael Cavallari is, in fact, missing.
The former star of The Hills shared an Instagram post featuring a photo of herself with Michael when the siblings were much younger.
“I appreciate all the concern, thoughts, and prayers that have been extended to me and my family. We remain hopeful and I will share any news that we receive. I have such gratitude for all those that have shared their support,” Kristin Cavallari captioned the post.
A car driven by Michael Cavallari was found abandoned, but running, in Grand County, Utah on November 27th–just days after Kristin Cavallari and hubby Jay Cutler welcomed their baby girl into their world.
Grand County Sheriff Steven White said in an interview with the Deseret News that the car appeared to have hit a large rock on the side of the road. The air bag had deployed. Michael Cavallari’s laptop and cell phone were also found inside, according to police.

This ordeal is no doubt heart wrenching for Kristin Cavallari and her family members. They are surely praying for the best, but in some ways preparing themselves for the worst.
Hopefully Kristin Cavallari and her family will get the news that they’ve been praying for–that Michael Cavallari has been found safe and sound.
