Kourtney Kardashian finally broke down and visited Scott Disick in rehab on Sunday–for the sake of the children. She had Reign, Penelope, and Mason Disick in tow.

A source tells Us Weekly that the Disick children, along with Kourtney Kardashian, spent about two hours with Scott Disick.

“Scott was really happy to see the kids and was very loving with them,” the source says. “He visited with them inside for awhile and then took them outside to admire the view from the balcony.”

Scott Disick reportedly gave Mason Disick, five, a pair of binoculars and they were “spotting birds and trying to look for other animals” together. Three-year-old Penelope Disick got a turn, too.

Despite the kind gesture, Kourtney Kardashian was there so the children could visit their father. Her presence in no way indicates any desire for a reconciliation with Scott Disick.

“Kourtney stood back and let Scott do his thing with the kids,” the source adds. “But she seemed to be on decent terms with Scott and they were chatting from time to time.”

Scott Disick has decided to stay a couple of extra weeks in rehab this time.

“He’s making progress but wants to make sure and there was no harm in staying a bit longer so he decided to stay another week or two to be safe,” the source says.

Before entering rehab this time, Kourtney Kardashian told Scott Disick he had to stay sober or he would lose contact with his children. Maybe he is finally taking her seriously–for the good of their children?

Kourtney Kardashian broke things off with Scott Disick in July, following a nine-year relationship. Seeing him in photos with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back for Kourtney.

“They’re amicable for their kids,” a second source says of the two. “But Kourtney is officially done.”

Last weekend Kris Jenner brought Reign, Penelope, and Mason to visit their father. Kourtney Kardashian’s visit this past weekend was rather unexpected.
