Puts Zynga Games On Notice

European video game start-up has passed Electronic Arts (EA) for overall daily users on Facebook for the first time. The nine-year old company has experienced an explosion in popularity since launching on Facebook a little over a year ago with its saga games.

Bubble Witch Saga,'s top Facebook game, now has more daily players than Zynga's hit game Farmville.

Zynga currently has over 64 million daily average users so definitely has their work cut out for them. is a private company with more than $47 million in venture investment from Apax Partners and Index Ventures. They are looking into an IPO in the near future but want to make sure the time is right. is now the 3rd largest gaming dev on Facebook.
