Kendall Jenner and her mom Kris clashed recently over whether Kendall is ready to move out on her own, but dad Bruce thinks it’s a good idea.

Kendall, who turned 18 in November and has a successful modeling career, says she’s ready to prove she’s an independent woman, but Kris thinks she’s just too young. However, Bruce Jenner said he doesn’t have a problem with it and says it might be good for her to get away from the family house, which is always full of people and cameras.

“She’s a lot more mature than Kim was when she moved out at 18, and you didn’t have problems with [Kim moving out],” he told Kris. “And honestly, I think it would be good for her to move out. I mean, look what’s going on at our house, with Kanye [West] there and all these people. It would be perfect for her to have her own place, get her out on her own, and get the responsibility that goes along with it.”

Kris thinks Bruce is going along with it just so Kendall will move closer to him, however.

“It’s a little suspicious that Bruce wants her to move to Malibu so she can be closer to him,” Kris said. “And I’m not going to take it anymore.”

The couple separated over a year ago and rumors have flown about Bruce, who is said to be undergoing transition surgery after he had a procedure done to shave his Adam’s apple down recently.
