Keanu Reeves is reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming film Rally Car. Reeves will play an American race car driver in the film, set in China.
Back by Fundamental Films, which is based in China, means Rally Car may very likely become a Chinese co-production, and this is good news for a couple of reasons–the most important being the film will get played in China.

Keanu Reeves has been no stranger to the big screen of late. He starred in 2014’s John Wick, and is set to revise his role in the sequel as well. He will next appear in Knock, Knock, which hits theaters next month, as a husband and father who aims to help two stranded women who knock on his door after he’s been left home alone for the weekend. The psychological thriller turns his kind and noble gesture into a “deadly game of cat and mouse.”
Reeves will star in the 2016 romantic horror-thriller The Bad Batch alongside Jim Carrey.
If, in fact, Keanu Reeves signs on the dotted line to star in Rally Car, he will find himself behind the wheel in an action/comedy that has been dubbed a modern day Cannonball Run. And even if he doesn’t it sounds like fans will get to see their fair share of the actor in one or more of his upcoming projects.
Would you like to see a modern day Cannonball Run-type film set in China, and starring Keanu Reeves?
