On Saturday, November 1, Katherine Heigl responded to rumors that she is rude and hard to work with during a Facebook Q&A.
“I’ve heard rumors that your very rude. What’s your thoughts?” a fan asked the former Grey’s Anatomy star.
“Yeah I’ve heard those too…honestly I don’t think I am…nothing makes me more uncomfortable than confrontation or hurting someone’s feelings and I would never, ever actively do so on purpose,” Katherine responded.
“Of course just like any human being I’ve made mistakes and unwittingly or carelessly spoken or acted but I always try to make any wrong right,” she continued. “That doesn’t mean I won’t stand up for myself by drawing boundaries and asking to be treated kindly and respectfully but I don’t do that with any rude or unkind intentions just with the same strength and honesty I think every one of us is entitled to .”
Heigl, who has a new drama State of Affairs, premiering later this month, was bashed by Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes in October during an interview for The Hollywood Reporter.

“There are no Heigls in this situation,” Rhimes told the website of the cast of her new show Scandal. She later explained that she now has a “no assholes” policy: “I don’t put up with bullshit or nasty people. I don’t have time for it.”
