Karrueche Tran chatted with Ryan Seacrest as a guest on On Air With Ryan Seacrest this week, and she gave a rather unexpected answer to one question he asked.

The two chatted about her relationship with Chris Brown. Brown and Tran split when Karrueche Tran learned he had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. Breezy has tried unsuccessfully to win Karrueche back since that, but she hasn’t acquiesced. That’s why her answer will likely strike some as strange.

Ryan Seacrest asked Karrueche Tran if she thought she might get back together with Chris Brown some day, and while most would have expected to hear an unequivocal no, that wasn’t her answer.

“Us getting back together I can’t say,” Tran, 27, admitted. “I don’t know what the future holds. As of right now, I’m just completely focused on myself. I’m not trying to date anybody. I just want to figure out me. There’s no drama between us. It’s peaceful, it’s cordial.”

Does that sound like someone who hasn’t completely thrown in the towel yet?

Ryan Seacrest also asked about the public fights Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown engaged in on social media–both before and after their split.

“It’s unfortunate that sometimes it does go a little too left and things are said that probably shouldn’t be said online,” Tran said, adding, “I couldn’t even think to date somebody right now. Yeah, I just don’t even want to go down that road. I feel like all guys are the same. All guys are dogs.”

Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown started dating when he and Rihanna split up back in 2010. Brown wasn’t always exclusive, however, and frequently cheated on Karrueche with Rihanna. That led to a pretty volatile feud between the two women.

Do you think Karrueche Tran would actually consider taking Chris Brown back? She didn’t say no to Ryan Seacrest, and that likely has those close to her a bit worried.

Chris Brown is a serial cheater. He would likely–after exhibiting some good behavior–cheat on Karrueche Tran again.
