Celebrities hate the paparazzi and Kanye West may just hate them more than anyone else.

It can’t be easy to be followed and photographed constantly, and for anyone wondering what it’s like, Kanye offers a comparison.

He believes that celebrities are fighting for their rights against the paparazzi like African Americans fought for equal rights in the 60s and 70s.

“I mean in the ’60s people used to hold up ‘Die N****r’ signs when my parents were in the sit-ins also,” Kanye said.

When asked if he thought the struggles of blacks in the past is equal to celebrities today, he answered “Yes, 100 … I equate it to discrimination. I equate it to inequalities.”

Kanye expresses his hatred towards and struggles with the paparazzi pretty often and has also compared the constant invasion of privacy to the feeling of being raped.

“I don’t care what you do in life, everybody needs a day off, everybody has the right to say, ‘You know what, I need a minute to breathe,'” West said at a concert back in July. “I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherfuckers following me. Everybody here, they like sex right? Sex is great when you and your partner are like, ‘Hey, this is what we both want to do.’ But if one of those people don’t want to do that, what is that called? That’s called rape. That is called violation.”

Other celebrities have made similar analogies and many are hoping that there will someday be a law that protects them against the paparazzi.

Celebrities have a right to privacy too, but some people feel that because they like the attention sometimes, they want it all the time.

Many celebrities are like ticking time bombs when it comes to the paparazzi and eventually snap and end up hitting or smacking one of them when they get too close or become relentless.
