Kanye West has reportedly been deposed in the trial concerning Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries, and rumors are flying as to what he’ll say.

Kardashian has been trying to get the divorce over with for months now, but says Humphries’ legal team is slowing things down. The basketballer allegedly had West served with his court papers this summer by hiding them in a Nordstrom box and is hoping to prove that West and Kardashian had a relationship while the marriage was still binding.

The rapper and reality star have been friends for years, and were seen out together as early as 2010 (although they didn’t go public with their relationship until much later). Kanye even wrote a song about Kim, declaring his love for her. The lyrics may provide some clues to Humphries and possibly raised his suspicions:

“And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim, ’round the same time she had fell in love with him, well, that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thing, lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team”

That last dig alludes to the fact that Kanye is close with rapper Jay-Z, who is co-owner of Humphries’ team, the Nets.

Regardless of what happens with the deposition, both Humphries and Kardashian are expected in court in February to either annul or dissolve the marriage.
