Justin Bieber turned 20 years old this weekend. The As Long As You Love Me singer celebrated his birthday on Saturday, however it’s a bit uncertain thus far exactly what his birthday plans were for wishing away his teen years. Perhaps–and hopefully–swearing off drugs is among his immediate future plans? Some of his friends and family members have been busy sharing their very best wishes with the media’s favorite bad boy for the year to come.

Justin has, of course, been a bad boy for a while now. It’s only recently that he’s been caught, however. He spent time in a Miami jail cell after drag racing without a valid drivers license, and then time in a Canadian jail after being charged with the assault of a limo driver.

Call Me Lately singer Carly Rae Jepson was among the first of Justin Bieber’s friends to wish him Happy Birthday–and she did so via Twitter.

Mom Pattie Mallette got in on the Twitter birthday wishes, too, tweeting the following to her baby boy on Saturday.

And then Jeremy Bieber, Justin’s dad and drag racing cohort, got in on the Twitter action–retweeting Pattie Mallette’s tweet and adding one of his own.

Do you think Justin Bieber enjoyed a low key birthday this weekend or that he perhaps lived it up big and simply managed to keep away from the paparazzi while he celebrated? Fans likely hope he’s not partying (illegally) and that he’s simply enjoying cake and ice cream–and maybe a present or two–with his friends and family members.
