Oh give the kid a break already.

That’s what some people might say after hearing that an Atlanta neighborhood committee is making a fuss about Justin Bieber moving to their area.

Reportedly, the troubled singer has plans to move to the Buckhead section of Atlanta, but his potential neighbors aren’t having it, and they created a Facebook post and an actual protest to stop him.

“As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are,” read the post.

“Justin Bieber’s relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community. Some can’t even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence before. What’s to say he won’t do it again? As a home owner down the street from this residence, one can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon.”

As soon as Bieber caught wind of the protest–that’s supposed to take place today, Monday Feb. 24 in Atlanta–he took to his Twitter page to comment, and said that he considers himself the low hanging fruit when it comes to people being mad at him, so he’ll ignore the backlash and just focus on music.

“I guess I’m an easy target for some,” he wrote. I’m still human. I will continue to meet hate with love. It’s all about the music. Much love.”

As many know, the Biebs has been going through a lot of growing pains lately, as he’s been investigated by police for egging his neighbors house in California, and he was stopped for drag racing in Florida last month.

And while some have chalked his behavior up to normal boyhood antics, others believe he’s a real danger to himself and any community that he lives in. It’ll be interesting to see if the Atlanta protest really keeps the pop star from moving there. My guess is that it won’t stop him at all.
