Jim Carrey and Cathriona White dated off and on for about three years prior to her alleged suicide on September 28th. White will be laid to rest following a funeral on Saturday in the village of Cappawhite in Tipperary, Ireland.
Cathriona White’s body was released on Monday. Her stepmother and sister flew to L.A. to arrange for her body to be flown home to Ireland.
Jim Carrey is reportedly focused on helping the family in any way he can.

“Jim is doing everything he can to help,” a source says in an interview with People magazine. “He is devastated, but can’t imagine how her family must feel.”
The family harbors no ill feelings toward Jim Carrey. They are searching for answers as to why White took her life. They will lay Cathriona to rest in the local cemetery by her late father.
“They are all just shocked,” the source adds. “No one [from her family] is putting any blame on Jim.”
Jim Carrey issued a statement on the day after Cathriona White’s body was discovered, saying he was “deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona.”
“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her,” he added.
White was involved with the Church of Scientology, something Jim Carrey made fun of throughout their time together. People within the organization had expressed concern over White dating the actor–likely because he didn’t follow the ways of Scientology.
